Information we collect

We collect the account details you give us when you register (such as your name, email address and password), your business profile (business name, NTN, STRN, contact details and logo), and the records you create while using the service — your customers, products and invoices. We also keep basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

FBR credentials

To submit invoices to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in real time, you provide your FBR integration token in the app. Your token is stored encrypted on our servers and is used only to submit your own invoices to FBR and to check their status. We never use your token for any other business or share it with other sellers.

Google and Gmail integration

You may optionally connect your Gmail account so invoices are emailed to your customers from your own address. TaxAtlas requests only the send permission (gmail.send). We never read, search or download the contents of your mailbox. The authorization token Google issues for this connection is stored encrypted and is used solely to send invoices you choose to email. You can disconnect Gmail at any time in Settings, which removes the stored token.

TaxAtlas's use of and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Email processing

Platform emails — such as signup verification codes and password-reset links — are delivered through our email service provider from our own sending address. Invoice emails are sent either through your connected Gmail account or through the SMTP server you configure in your settings.

How we share information

We share invoice data with FBR when you submit an invoice, as required by law. We use service providers for hosting and email delivery, who process data only to provide those services to us. We never sell your personal or business data, and we do not share one seller’s data with another seller.

Security

Stored credentials, including FBR tokens and Google authorization tokens, are encrypted. Access to the platform is controlled by individual accounts and roles, and each business’s data is kept separate from every other business’s data.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account, you may ask us to delete your business data, and we will do so except where we are required to retain records by law.

Your rights

You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to us at support@taxatlas.tech and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
